Speech Pathologist - Senior (Gayndah) - Wide Bay Hospital & Health Service

An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Speech Pathologist - Senior to join the Rural Allied & Community Health Team at the Gayndah Health Service within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Eligible Applicants who move within Queensland intrastate (from Qld within MM1 to MM3) or to Queensland from interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent employment may receive up to $70,000 incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Scheme
Your opportunity:
  • To deliver high level generalist speech pathology services to eligible in-patients and out-patients including youth and adolescents, aged care residents and community in rural settings.
  • Contribute to the advancement of speech pathology services and multidisciplinary services across rural facilities in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service through the provision of clinical leadership for service development, quality improvement and education and research activities.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $152,775 p.a., comprising salary between $124,435 - $133,901p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
