Well Balanced Care is looking for Psychologists to join our team. You may be a new graduate looking for something new or an experienced therapist who is looking for flexibility. Either way, we are interested in talking to you. Support will be provided by an experienced clinical lead.
At Well Balanced Care we believe that a person's health should not be determined by their postcode. It is our goal to ensure those living in regional rural and remote communities and locations receive the necessary health care they need to lead a good and healthy life. Our allied health clinicians and management team understand the challenges faced in getting access to health care in remote communities and we have a tailored approach that allows our clinicians to work together with our patients and their families as a partner in providing care. There is no single solution, but through the use appropriate technology and evidence base practice we have the skills and experience to provide quality allied health services to our patients in their homes.’
Well Balanced Care is committed to multi-disciplinary allied health care model utilising emerging and existing technologies to assist patients. We specialise in the NDIS but our services are not limited to this area. We are committed to using capacity building approaches that are relevant to the participant, family and community.
Our innovative values driven approach has been making a difference in remote indigenous Australia for the past 12 months, and we are keen to expand and build on this success.
Location: Well Balanced Care is based in Cairns, but we are able to able to accommodate a practitioner who wants to live in another location. You just need good access to the internet and be willing to travel occasionally.
