The Allied Health Assistant provides assistance and support to the Allied Health team in the delivery of Allied Health services to patients/clients of the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, under the supervision of the Community and Allied Health, Healthy Living Team Leader.
The Allied Health Assistant will support the YNLHN Rehabilitation Service to focus on consumer reablement and care.
The Allied Health Assistant will provide support to patients and community clients participating in their Rehabilitation. Duties will be directed by the AHP clinician and the rehabilitation team. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and initiative as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Must have Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent.
