An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Dietitian - Senior to join the Rural Allied & Community Health Team at the Gayndah Health Service within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

 Your opportunity:

  • To deliver high level generalist dietetics clinical services, including, but not limited to, allergy, cardiovascular, chronic disease support services, diabetes, gastroenterology, weight management, nutritional risk and aged and acute care, to eligible clients across the age continuum.
  • Provide high level guidance and support for food services and provide professional supervision and support to allied health assistants and chronic disease program leaders and take a leadership role in rural dietetics service improvement.

Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment up to 30th June 2023

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
