NHW is seeking applications from Occupational Therapists who are team focused, enthusiastic and interested in pursuing opportunities to diversify and enhance their skills within a growing allied health team. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

 The grade one therapist will have the opportunity to participate in acute (medical/surgical), inpatient rehabilitation and community services six months rotations which are supported by a Grade 2 therapist.

The primary role of the Grade 1 Occupational Therapist is to provide high quality client care through the application of competent clinical skills in assessment, treatment and management of adult patients in their designated work area.
The Grade 1 OT will participate in rotations across NHW and regional organisations including acute, sub-acute and community settings.
The Grade 1 OT will work with a collaboration of clients, their families and multidisciplinary staff, both across the organisation and with external service providers, and actively participate in supervision and continuing professional development.
