Advanced Clinical Lead Podiatrist -Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network

The Rural Support Service (RSS) is excited to announce a great Leadership opportunity - Advanced Clinical Lead Podiatrist. This is an opportunity to work across the 6 Regional LHNs to support them to provide innovative, culturally appropriate high quality podiatry services across the breadth of healthcare settings from Acute hospitals, Community and Aged care services to remote communities across Regional South Australia.

 The location of the role can be based anywhere in our beautiful state from the Crystal-clear waters of Port Lincoln, the heart of the wine country in the Barossa or in the beautiful Flinders ranges.

The purpose of the role is to:

• Provide professional leadership and clinical expertise to Podiatrists and Podiatry Allied Health assistants working across the 6 Regional Local Health networks.
• To work collaboratively with the Allied Health Leadership team in the RSS to provide Allied Health leadership clinical governance, credentialing, strategic and workforce advice to the rLHNS to support them in developing high quality Allied health service for their communities.
• You will work collaboratively and Podiatry teams across the 6rLHNs ensure patients/clients
  receive safe and effective care through the provision of evidence-based health care, education, and research.
• The role is responsible for sponsoring, nurturing, and sustaining a culture of innovation, continuous quality improvement, culture for staff and students

• You are an expert clinician in your own right and have experience enabling others to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
• You lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team and are truly passionate about evidence-based care.
• You have been developing your strategic leadership skills and are confident working in a highly complex organisation and are able to think outside the box to provide innovative solutions to meet the challenges of the regional Local Health Networks

Qualifications

Must hold a recognised allied health qualification within the Podiatry profession, and fulfill all requirements to achieve and maintain current registration.
