Physiotherapist (Rural Generalist Pathway) (Gayndah & Childers)

The Allied Health Rural Generalist Pathway provides support at each career stage, with rural generalist training positions for early career practitioners, and development programs for senior allied health professionals. The pathway provides mentoring and networking, funded post-graduate training, development-focussed positions, and opportunities to work in and develop innovative services. Start your rural and remote practice journey with Queensland Health. Duties:

• To provide generalist physiotherapy clinical services to a broad range of clients across the age continuum; aiming to promote, develop and maintain self management principles and independent client functioning.
• The Physiotherapist travels regularly to supply quality inpatient, outpatient and health promotion services across rural hospitals/ multipurpose facilities in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
• This position is a rural generalist training position and has a dedicated 0.1FTE of the work role is dedicated to training and development activities as the incumbent undertakes an approved Rural Generalist Education Program.
