Speech Pathologist AHP1/2

Location: Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, Health Families Team, Port Pirie
Salary: $65,487 - $97,774 - Temporary Full Time (up to 30 June 2023) - AHP1/ AHP2

Joining our friendly Health Families team within Yorke and Northern Community Health Services, you will deliver Speech Therapy services to children aged 0-7 years as well as an adult caseload (inpatient, outpatient, aged care).  You will be required to manage and prioritise a caseload of clients as directed by the organisational, clinical and financial priorities, and will understand the complex needs of children with disability and the NDIS administrative requirements.

As a member of a multi-professional team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, the Speech Pathologist utilises a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment / therapy and evaluation approaches. This position has a major focus on the delivery of both state and NDIS funded paediatric services as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Must hold a recognised qualification within the Speech Pathology profession, and be eligible for practicing membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia. For self-regulated professions, it is desirable to participate in the professional association accredited CPD program. Experience with NDIS client care and administration is highly desirable.

Please note this position is multi-classed as AHP1 or AHP2 and classification will be determined by knowledge and experience.
