About you: Our ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working within a multidisciplinary team environment and contribute to the social work perspective in the multidisciplinary response, ensuring that patients are supported through the health system and beyond their discharge from the hospital. You will be courageous, resilient and motivated and will have a strong commitment to improving outcomes for patients, their family/carers as they adjust to the various changes that hospitalisation can bring, and assist patients to maintain quality of life. What you'll be doing: The position will see you responsible for the overall Social Work service provision to patients of at Manning Base Hospital and other areas, as required. You will join a supportive team of Social Workers who work together to provide direct support services to patients, families and carers, and to assist patients and their families/carers with the impact of illness and treatment. In this role you will be well supported by various experienced professionals and will be provided with a comprehensive orientation, training, clinical supervision and peer support.What can we offer you?
