Speech Pathologist Level 4 - Paediatric

Location: Manning Base Hospital
Salary: $111,228 - $114,007 per annum

In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for leading a dynamic and enthusiastic team of Speech Pathologists, organising and delivering effective assessment, diagnosis and management of children and young people, consistent with the eligibility criteria of the CYPF Speech Pathology service. You will be supported in this role by the CYPF service manager, and have access to external supervision and relevant training opportunities to further develop your skills and enhance service delivery. You will have support from peer clinicians within the CYPF team, and the network of Speech Pathologists within the LMNCS.

 As a skilled and driven professional, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, comprising of Child Family Health Nurses, Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Speech Pathologists; delivering children, young people and family services within Greater Taree, Great lakes and Gloucester areas from community health settings, as well as within preschools, schools and homes.

About you:
As an adaptable, personable leader, you will have demonstrated relevant clinical experience within a community paediatric speech pathology role; with advanced communication, clinical and team leadership skills. You will have a passion for rural practice and demonstrated experience in achieving outcomes within a multidisciplinary team environment.
