Capability Health has multiple positions available. We are seeking a Speech Pathologist, an Occupational Therapist and a Physiotherapist to become part of our family.

PACKAGE: Ranging from $80k - $120k

REQUIREMENTS

Suitable applicants must:

  • Be able to work independently
  • Enjoy working with a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Be outgoing, adaptable and thrive in living remotely
  • Have a client centred approach that is both professional and empathetic.

Essential requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Drivers licence and ability to obtain QLD driver’s license
  • Current police record check and blue card or ability to obtain
  • Current registration with Occupational Therapy Board AHPRA
  • Demonstrated understanding of working with children with both mild delays and disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder.
  • Work within the organisation's vision, beliefs and policies to deliver high quality, skilled Occupational Therapy services in line with accreditation frameworks.

Advantageous:

  • Confident in using different forms of technology such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • NDIS experience including functional capacity assessments, equipment prescription, home modifications, intervention and on-going management of clients across the life span will be highly valued
  • Occupational rehabilitation experience in the mining sector including pre-employments, functional capacity assessments
  • Experience in paediatric developmental assessments and intervention programs
  • Strong clinical and non-clinical problem-solving skills
  • A client centred approach that is both professional and empathetic
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of our multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
