The scholarship offer is conditional on the candidate securing a place in an eligible course.
If you receive a conditional scholarship offer and have not secured a place in a program you can provisionally accept the offer whilst waiting for second round places to be made by the Universities. If you do not secure candidature in an eligible program you cannot defer the scholarship.
A conditional offer will be sent by email to successful candidates, the offer must be accepted (or provisionally accepted) by the due date otherwise the offer is forfeited.
Applicants that are offered a Scholarship but do not secure candidature in an eligible course are asked to notify the Scholarship Office so that the next applicant on the order of merit can be offered the scholarship.
Applicants are advised to visit the AHPRA website to ensure their proposed postgraduate study meets their registration standards.
