Under the direct supervision of an experienced Physiotherapist, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of physiotherapy services, appropriate to the needs of the Riverland community. To achieve this, you will work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, and utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches. Working across acute, outpatient and community settings, you will provide individual, group and population health services targeting at-risk and priority clients and groups within the community, in accordance with service eligibility and prioritisation criteria. Make a real difference and feel like an important part of the community. Being part of Country Health SA means you will be supported both personally and professionally, can take advantage of education and training opportunities, will have access to flexible working hours and be part of an inter-professional approach to holistic health care.
You must hold a recognised qualification within the Physiotherapy profession, and be eligible for full membership of the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. With experience in providing straightforward clinical physiotherapy services, including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities, you will be capable of maintaining your own caseload and ensuring the accurate documentation and reporting of assessments, review, referrals and update of own client files. You will be committed to applying client-centred practice and community engagement principles in the provision of services, ensuring clients are meaningfully involved in all aspects of their care.
