Notification of SARRAH Annual General Meeting
The next annual general meeting (AGM) of the members of Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health (SARRAH) will be held on 29 November 2019.
Details of the meeting are as follows:

Place: Held via Zoom (details are included in the agenda).
Information for SARRAH Board of Directors Ballot AGM 29 November 2019
The SARRAH Board comprises 9 positions, with 5 positions available as follows;
Positions up for re-election are:
1. Hon Treasurer
2. 2 member positions
Positions open for nomination are:
1. 2 member positions
Six members have nominated for the five positions available on the SARRAH Board consequently, in accordance with Clause 11.8(iii) of the SARRAH Constitution an election will need to be held at the 2019 AGM.
This ballot is to elect five members to the SARRAH Board of Directors. Six members have nominated for the five positions and each candidate has provided a brief statement supporting their nomination.
The accompanying ballot paper contains the names of the five candidates and a box adjacent to each name. To complete the ballot paper correctly please ensure you:
• Provide your name in the space provided (you must be a financial individual member of SARRAH to vote).
• select your five preferred nominees by placing a “√” in the box provided, and
• place an “X” next to your least preferred nominee.
Ballot papers received that are not completed as outlined above shall be declared an “informal vote” and will not be counted.
The five nominees who receive the majority of votes will be duly elected to the SARRAH Board of Directors. If two or more nominees tie for the least number of votes, the existing SARRAH Board of Directors shall have the deciding vote.
NOTE: Your ballot paper must be returned to SARRAH by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by no later than Close of Business Friday 22 November 2019.
