The Australian Government aims to consolidate and build on workforce programs to ensure they better align with, and are able to respond to the needs of health professionals to train and practice, particularly in clinical areas and locations of particular need. The NAHSSS Allied Health Clinical Psychology Scholarships are open to students enrolled in an accredited course by Australian Psychological Accreditation Council (APAC) at Masters and/or combined Master/PhD level.

The scholarship entitlement for the next round of scholarships for 2017 academic year is limited to $15,000. The scholarship entitlement will spread over depending on the study load i.e. full time or part time study. The maximum scholarship payment per semester for full time study load is $7,500 for two semesters and $3,750 per semester for part time study load for four semesters.
